Nigella Lawson’s Easy Weeknight Recipes

After a long and exhausting day at the office, you may feel as if you don’t have the energy to cook dinner each evening. Fortunately, there are some simple, healthy and delicious recipes that you’ll be able to whip up in no time. Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson shared some of her favorite weeknight recipes that are easy to make at the end of a busy day.

Italian Sandwiches

For this recipe, all you need is four slices of your bread of choice, mozzarella cheese, milk, eggs, and flour. Fire up the stove and pour some olive oil into your pan while basting the bread slices into a mixture of egg, flour, and milk. Once you’re done soaking the bread, place the slices of Mozzarella cheese between them and cook the sandwich in the pan until the bread is golden brown.

Pancetta Pasta

Taking just a few minutes to make, the pancetta pasta requires just three ingredients, namely pasta, cubes of pancetta (bacon), and olive oil. You could also consider sprinkling parmesan cheese for some added flavor.

Orange Ice Cream

If you have a sweet tooth, then here is a quick dessert for you. Start by slicing up some oranges and juicing them before pouring the juice into a bowl. Pour icing sugar and cream into the mix and whisk up the mixture. Place the concoction in the bowl and leave it in the freezer until solid.
