Let’s be honest. French fries might not be the healthiest food, but who doesn’t love a side of french fries from time to time with a hamburger or fried chicken? Don’t be ashamed if you have a plate of them on July 13th!
While some people might opt for more creative and outside-of-the-box ice cream flavors, for us, there’s nothing as good as a bowl of quality vanilla ice cream. One great way to dress it up on July 23rd is to make a delicious sundae with syrup, berries, or a chocolate topping.

It should come as no surprise that vanilla is the United States’ most popular ice cream flavor. This classic flavor can be combined with a number of toppings and is also creamy and delicious on its own.
Plain old chocolate ice cream is the second-most popular flavor in America. One of my favorite ways to put a fruity twist on this flavor is to top it with whipped cream and sliced strawberries. Yum!
Coming in at number three is cookies and cream, a flavor that combines sweet cream ice cream with chocolate cookie chunks. Inspired by Oreo cookies, this flavor has become more and more popular in recent years, and it’s easy to see why.
Those that love mint will undoubtedly be big fans of number four on the list. Mint and chocolate go together perfectly, and this flavor goes especially well with chocolate sauce and/or chocolate shavings.
