The base you choose for your mocktails makes all the difference, and the options are pretty much endless. It all comes down to personal preference, and you can pick between anything from fruit juice and soda to ginger ale and non-alcoholic beers.
Non-alcoholic spirits have also been gaining traction, and you can use just a few drops to give your mocktails a major flavor boost.
If you want your mocktails to pack a sweet punch, always stick to natural sweeteners, such as honey, agave, and maple syrup.
If you want your mocktails to look as amazing as they taste, adding some garnish to the mix is a must. Citrus slices and ice are a timeless classic, but you can also go with berries, mint leaves, pineapple wedges, and more.

]]>For the best taste and maximum refreshment, chill both the champagne and orange juice before mixing them.
The order in which you combine champagne and orange juice is more important than you might think. By pouring the champagne first, you will minimize the loss of “fizz” and end up with a perfectly sparkling drink. You should also pour the champagne at an angle for the same purpose.
You might be tempted to use store-bought orange juice, but that will significantly affect the quality of the drink. Instead, opt for freshly squeezed orange juice, which will result in the best flavor.
There is no need to stir the mimosa once you poured the champagne and orange juice. The two will combine by itself and stirring can only make the drink lose its bubbles and taste flat.
The proper ratio of mimosa is two-thirds champagne and one-third orange juice. This will ensure your mimosa isn’t too sweet and has plenty of bubbles.

]]>Eggnog usually calls for a lot of sugar, but you can always try replacing it with natural sweeteners. Spices can also significantly boost its flavor, and cinnamon or nutmeg are among the most popular options.
Plant-based milks are everywhere these days, and they can help you eliminate dairy from your eggnog and put a vegan twist on this holiday classic.
Raw eggs are one of the main eggnog ingredients, but you can try pre-cooking your egg mixture or using pasteurized liquid eggs if you’re concerned about the potential safety hazards connected to them.
Eggnog is incomplete without some brandy, rum, whisky, or bourbon, but using them in moderation or skipping them altogether is always an option.
Even though the basic eggnog recipe doesn’t call for any toppings, some people use whipped cream, cinnamon sticks, and chocolate shavings to make it extra delicious. These toppings are best avoided because they’re only upping the calorie count of your drink.
