The summer season means many joyous things. Longer evenings, warmer days, and a generally more relaxed atmosphere are all aspects of summer that most people look forward to. Another huge part of summer fun for everyone is the delicious food and drinks around, whether it’s the seasonal fruits and veggies on offer or the exciting events with tasty food options. A classic food experience that many associate with summer days is the humble barbeque, with delicious grilled food and fresh sides. It’s hard to go wrong with a BBQ, but many people may not know how to take their grilled foods to the next level. Here are some tips for the best grill results ever.

Take Cleaning Your Grill Seriously

Keeping your grill is a super important aspect of producing the best possible results. It’s easiest to do this with a wire brush straight after using it when it’s still warm, so the grease and food bits don’t become totally stuck. Removing these old pieces of food and grease helps stop your grill from becoming unsanitary and tasting bad.

Preheat the Grill

Once you’ve got the flames nice and hot, leave the grill with the lid closed for at least 10 minutes before starting to cook on it. This will allow any food placed onto it to sear nicely, instead of becoming stuck on, and it gives you more control over the outcome of your grill items.
