Decaf coffee nutrition offers many of the same health benefits as caffeinated coffee. What matters is the way in which decaf coffee is processed and you can do it through three different techniques; through the extraction of water, solvent and carbon dioxide.

Decaf has some benefits but also some risks that one must keep in mind. It lowers the risk of diabetes, protects the liver, aids heart health and boost the brain function. However, it has also some downsides such as decreasing calcium absorption, can decrease the body’s ability to absorb iron and can sometimes contain chemicals or toxins.
