Jamie Geller’s Here to Give You All the Hanukkah Recipies You Need

Hanukkah is just over a week away, which means it’s almost time to start frying up some amazing meals. The festival of lights lasts eight days and all the traditional foods for Hanukkah revolve around oil. Jamie Geller’s no stranger to cooking up some amazing Jewish meals and when it comes to Hannukah, she’s got you covered. Here are some of our favorite Hannukah recipes from her.

Latkes

For latkes, known by many as potato pancakes, many of us use recipes passed down to us from our parents or grandparents. Jamie’s latke recipe comes from her grandfather and they’re extra crispy. Make sure you top them off with applesauce, sour cream, or ketchup.

Sufganiyot Jelly Doughnuts

Sufganiyot, or doughnuts, are a classic on Hanukkah, and while you can buy them, they’re even better homemade. These jelly doughnuts may not be fancy, but the deep-fried flavor loaded with powdered sugar and stuffed with jelly is to die for.

Dreidel Cake

For this easy recipe, all you need is a box cake, food coloring, and a dreidel cookie cutter. When you cut into this cake, you’re guests will see a nice suprise.
