Lamb Ragu Is The Dinner Recipe Everyone Will Love

Lamb is the type of meat most people are scared of cooking. With this amazing lamb ragu recipe, you will completely change your mind and start having it at least once a week.

Ingredients

The ingredient list for the lamb ragu includes:
2 peeled and diced medium carrots
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 chopped stalks celery
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1/2 c. red wine
2 tablespoons freshly chopped thyme
kosher salt
2 28-oz cans crushed tomatoes
1 chopped onion
2 minced cloves garlic
2 lb ground lamb
2 teaspoons freshly chopped oregano
2 teaspoons freshly chopped rosemary
1/4 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

Cook the onions, celery and carrots with oil for 5 minutes.

Next, include the tomato paste and garlic. Continue cooking them for 1 more minute.

Then pour the lamb meat and mix all the ingredients together. Cook for extra 6 minutes until the meat is lightly brown.

Pour the wine, leave the pan on for 5 more minutes.

Add the tomatoes, and then pour 1/4 cup water to each can. Add that liquid to the pan as well.

Mix in the herbs, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

When the lamb ragu starts to boil, lower the heat and let it simmer for 60 minutes. Serve it with cooked pasta or noodles.
