St. Patrick’s Day is not yet here, but if you’re in the mood to celebrate early, you can do so with McDonald’s Shamrock Shake starting February 15th. The shake, as well as the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry, will be available in US McDonald’s restaurants for a limited time. The holiday special offer also includes the McRib and celebrity meals.
A Old Classic
McDonald’s has been selling its famous Shamrock Shake since 1970. The original and some variations of it have been brought back periodically over the years, but they eventually wanted to shake things up. In 2017, the fast-food chain came out with a chocolate version of the shake and a new customer favorite—the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry.
Coming Early
This year, we get to enjoy the St. Patrick’s Day special early since the Shamrock Shake is already available in restaurants across the country. McDonald’s holiday-related items are always a big hit as people are anxious to try the specialties that aren’t available year-round.
