Have you celebrated Banana Bread Day last Thursday? In case you didn’t it is never too late to try this yummy and easy recipe. It is a delicious dessert to make when having guests over for coffee time, or just a great snack to always have at home when savoring something sweet.

Ingredients:
* 1/2 cup butter
* 1 cup sugar
* 2 eggs, beaten
* 3 or 4 bananes, finely crushed
* 1 1/2 cups flour
* 1 tsp baking soda
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/2 tsp vanilla abstract

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degres
2. Mix together, butter and sugar
3. Add eggs and crushed bananas and combine well
4. In another bowl, mix the four, baking soda and salt
5. Add to the creamy mixture and add vanilla
6. Grease your pan with coconut oil and pour the mixture in it
7. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes

Chocolate chips or walnuts are great ingredients to add to this recipe. I would even suggest making two of these banana breads right away because they will disappear faster than you will even realise.

Snacking is such a holy moment of the day and we all encounter every day the same problem – what should I eat as a snack now?

On one hand, you want it to be tasty and easy to make, but on the other hand, you also want it to be healthy and low in calories. Sound like a ‘dream’ snack, isn’t it?

So let us tell you that this ‘dream’ snack exists and they are called the Energy Balls. They are easy to make and even tastier to eat.

Image by @Foodmoods / Flickr

Energy balls are low in calories and are a perfect snack as a pre or post-workout boost, with your coffee or as a mid-day nibble to make it through dinner-time.

All you need is a food processor and the minimal of ingredients. You can mix Medjool dates, cacao nibs and sunflower butter. Then, all what’s left to do is roll them into balls and cover them with shredded coconut or any other kind of seeds. Let them chill in the fridge for an hour before eating.

Easy right?

Easy right?
