Year and year, we have turkey on Thanksgiving, and while it may be hard to part with the tradition, there are alternative mains that may be more exciting. These mains are just as show-stopping and tasty as turkey and they’re worth trying out this Thanksgiving.

Roasted Tenderloin

One of the most tender cuts of beef and pork, this meat cooks fast and looks festive when sliced on a plater with roasted veggies and herbs.

Beef Wellington

Traditionally this dish consists of beef tenderloin coated in a pate and mushroom mixture, is sometimes wrapped in Parma ham, and then encrusted in puff pastry.

Crown Roasts

These circular roasts cook in a fraction of the amount of time it takes to roast a turkey and they even come with stuffing. Pork or lamb, the choice is yours, either way it will be a new favorite!

Seafood

Seafood may be an unlikely choice for Thanksgiving, but salmon with a brown sugar and maple glaze or grilled lobster make for amazing centerpieces.

Ham

Baked ham has all the warmth and fall flavors typically seen at a Thanksgiving meal. Plus the slices of leftover ham make for delicious sandwiches.
