A lot had been said about the quality of the chicken nuggets we tend to find in fast-food restaurants. But that doesn’t me we can’t have a healthier and more notorious version of this lovely snack. Here is a quick recipe just for you.
Ingredients:
- 500 grams chicken breast diced
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 2 cups bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon dry oregano
- Oil for deep fry
- Salt and pepper
Instructions:
- In a bowl mix the flour and baking powder and season with salt and pepper.
- In another bowl mix the eggs, mayonnaise, BBQ sauce, and mustard.
- In a third bowl mix the bread crumbs and the oregano.
- In a medium pot heat the oil.
- Dip the chicken in the flour bowl, then in the eggs bowl, and then coat them in the bread crumbs bowl before putting them in the hot oil.
- Fry for about 3 minutes until golden. Enjoy.
