Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 avocado
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 loaf focaccia
- 1 teaspoon Worcester sauce
- 1 head romaine lettuce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons capers
Instructions:
- Preheat grill to medium-high.
- Blend together avocado, garlic, lemon juice, mayonnaise, mustard, oil, 3/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/3 cup water. Add Worcester sauce and pepper and blend until smooth.
- Brush both sides of the focaccia with olive oil. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt.
- Grill the focaccia for 3 minutes per side, until the edges are crispy.
- Brush the romaine with oil and grill for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Place the romaine on a serving platter and sprinkle in salt. Drizzle with salad dressing before serving.
