How to Make Asian Style Brussels Sprouts

Brussels sprouts are traditionally eaten on Christmas eve dinner in many households. But the season actually starts in October, so you have much more time to enjoy them. This time, we went for a mixture of east and west and played with the seasoning a bit to get this awesome Asian style side-dish.

Ingredients

  • 500 g Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 0.5 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 150 C.
  2. Cover a baking tray with parchment paper.
  3. Place the Brussels sprouts in a large bowel. Toss with the oil, soy sauce, honey, and garlic, using a or your hands.
  4. Arrange the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast for about 30 minutes until browned, shaking the tray a couple of times during baking.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve. Enjoy!
