Fall is upon us and that means apple season is here! There are thousands of apple varieties, and while some are best eaten fresh, others lend themselves perfectly to different apple dishes. Some make the most delicious applesauce, while others work best in desserts like baked apples or a pie. Not sure what to make? Here are some of Martha Stewart’s favorite apple recipes.

Apple Crumble

This classic apple dessert is the perfect fall treat. It will give you the coziest feeling and it’s super easy to make.

Kale and Apple Salad

This delicious fall salad is made with kale, celery, and a dressing of Parmesan, apple-cider vinegar, olive oil, and mustard. Add some sun crisp apples for sweetness, to really help all the flavors come together.

Spiced Apple Oatmeal

Apples can be used to spice up a healthy oatmeal breakfast. Cook the apples in some maple syrup and butter. A sprinkle of chopped pecans works well too.

Apple Rose Tart

This tart is not only delicious but also beautiful and impressive to look at, making it the perfect dessert to serve when you’re having guests over. Arrange thinly sliced Pink Lady or Granny Smith apples in a rose formation on top of the pie dough, and there you have it.
