Air fryers became such a huge hit in the past few months that pretty much everyone wants to get their hands on one. If you’re considering welcoming it into your home but aren’t 100% sure it’s the right choice, here are three things you should keep in mind before buying it.

Limited Space

If the counter and cabinet space in your kitchen is extremely limited, think twice before investing in an air fryer. This kitchen appliance takes up a lot of space, and if you’ll forget to use it because it’s not at your counter at all times, you’ll just end up wasting money.

Change in Taste

Air fryers took the world by storm because they were often hailed as the healthy alternative to deep frying. That’s also the reason why the food made inside them won’t taste exactly the same as their deep-fried counterparts. Don’t let this turn you away from buying an air fryer, because the food made inside it can still taste pretty great.

Smaller Portions

If you’re usually cooking just for yourself, buying an air fryer is a good idea, but it won’t do you any favors if you’re preparing food for a larger group of people. Air fryers usually can’t fit a lot of food at once, so it will take several rounds to prepare food for a large gathering.
