Ice Creams Sundaes are the Newest Addition to Charcuterie Boards

We’ve written about breakfast boards and hot chocolate boards, and the latest charcuterie boards catching our attention are sundae boards. These boards take dessert to the next level and they make creating sundaes even more exciting. Whether you’re hosting a holiday party, planning a sleepover for your kids, or having a girl’s night in, these sundae boards are a must!

To create one, start with a large wooden cutting board, spoons, small bowls or appetizer/dessert plates, and ice cream scoopers. Next, choose your ice cream flavors. We suggest sticking to three and going with chocolate, vanilla, and a fruity or seasonal flavor. With these flavors, you’ll have something sure to satisfy everyone.

The next step is adding the accompaniments. As with other charcuterie boards, opt for a range of textures, colors, and flavors. Add something salty and crunchy like popcorn, pretzels, and nuts, something sweet like chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and cookies, and something fruity like berries. Don’t forget to include sauces like chocolate and caramel sauce.

For the additions, you can really add anything you have in your pantry and it’s always nice to have ice cream cones as well. Make sure the additions are close together, so you can fit a ton of options on your board.
