Vitamin D, often called the “sunshine vitamin”, is essential for many different reasons, including good bone health and a strong immune system. This is the vitamin that our body produces when exposed to sun, but we can also get it from certain food. Since winter is almost here and we won’t be able to spend as much time outside, here are some foods than can help us get enough vitamin D.

Milk
