A Smoothie a Day For an Extra Energy Boost

If you are in need of an energy boost or need an extra shot of vitamins, a smoothie is the perfect solution. You could have a smoothie with water or ice, with orange juice or with milk. They all have a big amount of vitamins and benefits for the human body. You don’t have to buy a smoothie or a fresh juice, but you can make them at home. All what’s required are fresh fruits and a mixer or blender.

See here 5 different smoothies recipes that are full of nutrients, vitamins and simply delicious.

  1. Carrot – Apple
    Make some carrot juice and then one apple juice. Mix it together in your blender and add  1 1/2 cups ice. Refreshing, healthy and tasty.
  2. Peach – Mango – Banana
    Blend one cup of peaches (fresh or frozen) and mango, 1/2 cup banana, 1 cup plain yogurt and ice and sugar to taste or you could alternate it with a date instead of sugar.
  3. Kiwi – Strawberry
    Blend 1 cup strawberries, 2 peeled kiwis, 1 date and 2 cups of ice. Tasty.
  4. Apple – Ginger – Lime
    Blend one chopped, peeled apple, a small piece of peeled ginger, the juice of two limes, 1/4 cup honey, 1 cup water and 2 cups of ice.
    You will want to make this one every single day.
  5. A Veggie Smoothie
    Blend 1 1/4 cups tomato juice, 1/4 cup carrot juice, 1/2 peeled cucumber, 1/2 celery stalk, 1/4 cup parsley and spinach and 1/2 cup ice.
    Different than the ordinary one, but so healthy.
