Autumnal Apple Cider Sangria

Apple cider sangria is the perfect punchy cocktail this fall. Its bold blend of cider, brandy, and Prosecco mixed with lemon, ginger and seasonal fruits will warm your body and mind. Get into the seasonal spirit with these 4 simple steps.

Ingredients

To make this seasonal punch cocktail you’ll need:

  • 2 1/2 c. apple cider
  • 3/4 c. brandy
  • 1/2 c. fresh clementine juice
  • 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons of orange bitters
  • 4 thinly sliced clementines
  • 2 thinly sliced apples
  • 1 750ml bottle of Prosecco
  • pomegranate seeds

Method:

Stir together the cider, brandy, and clementine juice into a large pitcher.

Then add lemon juice, ginger and bitters, mixing again.

Finally, stir in the clementine and apple slices (once the clementine and apple slices are in, the mixture will only last in the fridge for up to a day).

Hot or Cold

You can enjoy this drink hot or cold. If you want something a bit more warming, just heat the mixture on a gentle flame until the brew is steaming or warm to the touch. If you’re looking for something cold, add ice before you serve.

Add Prosecco

When you’re ready to serve, add the Prosecco and sprinkle on pomegranate seeds.
