Italian artist Daniele Barresi is one of those talented people who’d turn anything into art. His specialty is carving and his canvas is mostly food, although he sometimes uses soap. Barresi enjoys carving fruits, vegetables, and cheeses. His latest obsession is avocado, so check out what he’s doing below.

Barresi’s sculptures are too beautiful to be eaten. He’s a world champion carving designer and owner of Eden Pasticceria in Concord, Australia. “Daniele the driving force of Eden Pasticceria, has many years of experience as a Pastry Chef, originally in Italy and now in Australia. He is also a world champion in fruit carving. The birth of Eden Pasticceria has been for Daniele the perfect marriage of his skills,” his website reads.

The artist grew up in a small town in Italy where he enjoyed exploring nature. He’s always been fond of using natural materials to create art, and given that food is his big passion, it’s clear why he decided to combine the two. He had to practice a lot to become a professional carver but it was worth it. His one dream is to host a TV show through which he could show many people the art of carving.
