Are you feeling nostalgic after your meaningful Thanksgiving dinner? If so, then you may want to recreate the delicious cranberry sauce that goes great on turkey and other meats. Here is how you can make a delicious homemade cranberry sauce.

Prepare Your Ingredients

To make this sauce, you’ll need fresh or frozen cranberries, a 3/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries, pure maple syrup, kosher salt, and one cup and a half of chopped red apples. Place the cranberries, syrup, and salt in a medium saucepan with water. Cook the mixture on your stove over medium heat and cover, leaving it to simmer for 10 minutes.

Cook And Serve

Uncover the pan after 10 minutes and stir the sauce frequently. Make sure that the cranberries have popped, the apples are tender, and the mixture is thickened but still saucy. Still, make sure not to cook the sauce too thick as it will continue to thicken as it cools. Cooking will probably take between six and 10 minutes.
