If you love burgers but want to make a conscious effort to eat healthier, then fear not, as salmon can be a great meat replacement. With its omega-3, protein, and Vitamin B, here is your guide to making a scrumptious yet nutritious glazed salmon burger.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillet, skinless
- 7 potato buns
- 1/4 cup + 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- neutral oil
- 2 teaspoons wasabi paste
- 6 lettuce leaves
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup sliced cucumbers
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- 1/3 cup teriyaki
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together some vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon wasabi, and 1/4 cup mayonnaise. Add cucumber and toss the mixture until blended.
- Put one bun in a food processor and process until ground. Add garlic, half of the salmon, and the rest of the mayonnaise. Season with 1 teaspoon salt and baste 1 teaspoon wasabi.
- Add cornstarch and the rest of the salmon to the mix and process until the salmon is ground into small shreds.
- Shape the salmon mixture into 6 patties.
- Preheat your grill to 400°F and coat the patties with oil on both sides. Cook for 1 to 3 minutes per side, until ready.
- Brush both sides of each patty with teriyaki sauce.
- Put lettuce, cucumber, and avocado slices into each bun and add the patties.
