Cottage cheese has been around for a very long time and is known as the perfect cheese for a low-fat diet. You can find different cottage cheeses in high-fat versions and in low-fat versions (the most popular).

But what is Cottage Cheese?
Cottage cheese is a mild, soft and creamy white cheese that does not go through aging process so is a totally fresh cheese. The cheese itself comes from the curds of pasteurized cow’s milk.

Is Cottage good for you?
It is great for your health and to include in your diet. It includes protein, phosphorous, calcium, riboflavin and selenium. You can easily find Vitamin B12 in meat products. However, Cottage cheese and any other diary products have also a good amount of Vitamin B12.
