Make Wonton Soup At Home In 60 Minutes

You don’t have to go to the restaurant anymore for your favorite wonton soup. This recipe will solve all of your problems. And, the whole thing is done in an hour.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons Asian toasted sesame dressing
  • 4 green onions
  • 32 wonton wrappers
  • 1- 1/2 cups shiitake mushrooms
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 8 cups fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 8-oz can chestnuts

Instructions

The first step to prepare this wonton soup is to chop the onions. Next, you need to cut the mushrooms so that you fill 1/4 of a cup.

Remove the water from the chestnuts and cut them into pieces to get 2 tablespoons.

Combine the chestnuts, vegetables, egg yolk, dressing, and meat together. Mix them very well.

Get a wonton wrapper and fill it with 1 tablespoon of the mixture.

Beat the egg white and use it for the edges on the wonton wrappers. Start folding diagonally and use slight pressure to close them. Get the remaining two corners and fold them as well, cover them again with egg white.

Start cooking the rest of the onion slices. Add the rest of the mushrooms, water chestnuts, bone broth. Once it starts boiling add the won tons and let it simmer for 4 minutes.
