Upgrade Your Cooking Skills With The Hunter’s Chicken Recipe

Start off the week with this delicious Hunter’s chicken recipe! It’s meant for 4 servings and can take up to an hour to be done.

Ingredients

To make the Hunter’s chicken recipe you need to have:
2 chopped garlic cloves
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
2 sliced brown onions
2 3/4 oz plain flour
1 oz tomato puree
1 bay leaf
5 fl oz chicken stock
3 lb 5 oz chicken
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
3 1/2 fl oz white wine
1 lb 12 oz chopped ripe tomatoes
handful fresh parsley leaves
freshly ground pepper and salt

Instructions

Combine the flour with freshly ground black pepper and salt. Get the chicken meat and coat it with the flour mix.

Add oil to a casserole saucepan and include the chicken as well. Fry it for 2 to 3 minutes per side.

Remove the meat and add the garlic and onion. Fry them together for 8 to 10 minutes. Next, pour the tomato puree, continue cooking for 5 more minutes. Finish off by including the wine, rosemary, tomatoes, vinegar, stock, bay leaf. Wait for the mixture to boil, then lower the heat. It should simmer for 20 minutes.

When the time is up, add the chicken back and cover the dish. Leave it to simmer for 30 to 40 minutes to finish cooking the meat. Serve it with potatoes on the side.
