New Year’s Eve Cocktails to Impress Your Guests

With 2021 just around the corner, it’s time to decide what you’re going to drink on New Year’s Eve. There’s always the classic bottle of champagne that has to be cracked open at midnight, but prior to that big moment, it’s time for cocktails. Here are a few fun cocktails to share with a special someone or family members this holiday season!

Pomegranate French 75

For the old movie lovers out there, you will recognize this classic cocktail from the film Casablanca. It features gin and champagne as the major ingredients, along with a splash of lime, and a touch of pomegranate juice. For some garnish, you can add a few floating pomegranate seeds and a twirl of lime rind.

Sidecar

This citrusy cocktail has been a longtime favorite for many people. It features cognac, triple sec, and lemon juice as the primary ingredients. It’s a pretty stiff drink, and a good one to say so long to 2020 with. If you want to make it slightly more chic, add a dash of apple cider or champagne to it.

Gin Fizz

If lighter gin-based drinks are more to your liking, then a classic gin fizz is always an excellent choice. All you need is gin, club soda, lemon juice, and a dash of cranberry juice to make it a tad more festive.

You will enjoy sipping on these all evening, until it’s time for the final countdown!
