One of the most delicious fall fruits is the pear, which has so many diverse culinary uses and can be transformed into a snack, a dessert, a salad topping, or a side dish with so much ease.
Making pears into a dessert is one of the best ways to enjoy them, and it’s really as simple as topping them with a few sweet ingredients and putting them in your oven. Here’s how to make this tasty treat!
Ingredients
- 4 Bosc pears
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Start off by preheating your oven to 400 degrees F. Take your four Bosc pears and wash them before halving them longways.
- After you have halved them, place them on an aluminum-foil lined baking sheet and remove the seeds. Melt one tablespoon of butter, either in a saucepan or in your microwave, and drizzle evenly on top of the pear halves.
- Next, drizzle the honey, brown sugar, and cinnamon on top of the pears in the same even fashion.
- Put the pears in the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the pears are soft. Take out of the oven, allow to cool, and enjoy!
