The viral video was shared by TikTok creator Emily Mariko. Mariko published a video showing how she prepares this easy dinner not knowing she would inspire millions of people to try and do the same. She has a few handy tricks that she shares that you can also use in other recipes, so make sure to check out the video below.
Mariko first shreds the cooked salmon on a plate before placing pre-cooked rice over it. The next step is putting an ice cube over the ice, which will prevent it from drying. She covers the plate with some waxed paper and microwaves the food.
Once it’s done, she adds soy sauce, mayonnaise, and Sriracha sauce and pairs her dinner with Kimchi and pickled daikon.
