By now, you probably already know tea is generally good for your health. But what does this mean exactly? What will tea do to your body if you start drinking it regularly? Here are some things you can expect to happen.

Lower Cancer Risk

Drinking tea and eating vegetables are connected to the prevention of some types of cancer. According to Uma Naidoo, MD from Harvard Medical School, “beneficial effects have been found in skin, prostate, lung and breast cancers.”

Healthier Skin

One of the types of cancer tea prevents is skin cancer. It’s also beneficial for many other skin conditions, and it will improve the general state of your skin over time.

Diabetes

If you drink black tea after meals, it will help you control blood sugar levels and reduce the chance of getting Type 2 diabetes.

Better Sleep

If you’re having sleep-related problems, try drinking a cup of herbal tea before bed. Just remember that black and green tea come with caffeine, so they’re not a good choice for this purpose.
