These Snowball Cookies Are Mouth-Watering

When it comes to desserts, classic snowball cookies are the go-to for so many people. Everyone loves them, plus they require just a few ingredients. The total cooking time for this recipe is 35 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 cups finely ground toasted pecans
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

Combine the vanilla, butter, salt, and sugar together. You can mix them with either a mixer or a whisk.

Start pouring flour slowly.

Then, include the pecans in the mix as well. Mix everything together again.

When the dough is done place it in the fridge for 45 minutes.

Turn the oven to 350 F degrees and prepare a baking sheet while you’re waiting.

Transfer the powdered sugar in a bowl.

When the dough is done, you can divide it into balls, using 1 tablespoon for the measure. Make sure that the balls are separated by 2 inches on the baking tray.

Bake the cookies for 14 to 15 minutes until you notice that they have a light brown color.

Let them cool for 5 minutes, then start rolling them in the powdered sugar

Wait for the snowball cookies to cool down and roll them once again in the powdered sugar.
