How to Make Upside Down Pineapple Puff Pastry
@simplydiffrent_ shared the recipe for her upside down pineapple puff pastry in a viral video that got 2.3 million views. She first lines a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet before drizzling some honey on it.
Next, @simplydiffrent_ tops the honey with a pineapple slice and places a cherry in the middle before closing it with a piece of store-bought puff pastry. She then seals the edges of the puff pastry using a fork.
After brushing the puff pastry with some eggwash, she pops the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 350F for 20 minutes. Baked pastries are then flipped over and dusted generously with icing sugar. You can eat them straight away or serve them with a few scoops of ice cream.
Other TikTok users praised @simplydiffrent_ for her creativity in the comments section, while some even suggested adding more ingredients to make the pastry more decadent.
