3 Powerhouse Breakfasts to Kickstart Your Day

We’ve all heard it a million times: breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It sets you up for the day ahead and gives you the resources you need to achieve your goals. But it can also be really boring and uninspired. Eat the wrong foods such as sugary snacks or chips, and it can have the opposite effect. However, here are three powerhouse breakfast ideas that not only taste great, but will leave you feeling strong all day long.

Fruit Oatmeal

Simply fill a bowl with dry oats, sunflower seeds, cashew nuts, and crushed walnuts. Next, add slices of fresh banana, strawberries, and blueberries. Finish with a dash of honey if you like.

Poached Eggs and Avocado

Toast up some sourdough bread until it is crunchy. Then, mash a ripe avocado until it is soft and creamy. Season with salt and pepper. Spread it onto the toast as you would a nob of butter. Next, poach an organic egg just how you like it and lay it softly on top of the avocado toast. Season again with salt and pepper. Add a sprinkle of rocket leaves and serve!

Chia Pudding

Pour about a cup of milk (or almond milk) into a bowl. Add about 3 tablespoons of chia seeds and wait for them to absorb the milk. Add some cocoa powder, protein powder, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt. Then, this high protein breakfast will be ready to eat!
