Savoy cabbage is a great vegetable. It’s super healthy of course, and is hardy and long-lasting so is a great choice to pop in your shopping cart. But if you have chosen to purchase a lovely savoy cabbage and are now wondering what to do with it, don’t fear. Here are some fun ways to have this green veggie that will please anyone. 

Stir Fry

This lovely green cabbage is perfect for a stir fry. Its leaves are thick so soak up all the lovely flavors and provide some delicious crunchy texture. Simply add it into your usual stir fry recipe with the other veg and stir fry for a few minutes.

Cabbage Rolls

The classic choice for this is pork, but you can do it with whatever you like. The sturdiness of these cabbage leaves is what makes it so perfect for this dish. Make up a filling of whatever you like, for example, cooked meat and veg or some tofu. Roll it up in the cabbage, fasten it with a cocktail stick, and then fry it while gently turning. 

Stew

If you add the leaves of a savoy cabbage to your stew and let it simmer in all the juices for a while, then you’ll end up with delicious tender cabbage that has an incredible flavor of all the stew sauce.
