Churros are one of those classic Spanish desserts that took the whole world by storm, and it’s always a delight to eat them. Making them on your own can be super-fun, but it takes time to master the art of preparing this tasty treat. If you feel like your homemade churros are missing something to be perfect, these tips will help you take them to another level.

Adding Eggs

Most churros recipes call for eggs, and the way you add them to your batter is extremely important. Using cold eggs is highly recommended, and you should let your batter for a while first. Also, keep in mind eggs will incorporate better if you beat them one at a time.

Perfect Temperature

One of the most difficult parts of making churros is figuring out for how long they should fry and how high the temperature should be. It’s recommended to keep them at around 350˚F and keep a close eye on them before they’re golden brown.

Sugar Coating

Churros would be incomplete without their cinnamon sugar dip, and the way you add it makes all the difference. Your churros should still be warm so the sugar mixture could stick, and you should put them on a paper towel to release excess oil.
