Sometimes the simplest recipes are the best, and these five-ingredient homemade Payday bites prove just that. They capture all the flavors of the classic candy bar but with the satisfaction of making them yourself. Plus, you can control the quality of ingredients. Let’s satisfy that sweet tooth!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup salted peanuts, roughly chopped

Instructions:

  1. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the peanut butter and honey. Microwave for 30 seconds, then stir until smooth.
  2. Add the powdered sugar to the peanut butter mixture and stir until well combined. The mixture will be thick.
  3. Fold in the crispy rice cereal, making sure it’s evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  4. Let the mixture cool for about 10 minutes, or until it’s comfortable to handle.
  5. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  6. Place the chopped peanuts in a shallow dish. Roll each ball in the peanuts, pressing gently to make sure they adhere.
  7. Place the finished bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  8. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
