Avocado Chips are the Perfect Healthy Appetizer

Avocado chips take just 40 minutes to be done. This means you can have a healthy appetizer in no time. If you are having people over who love avocado, this recipe sounds like the best idea.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fine-grated parmesan
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup packed avocado
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice or lime juice
  • sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

Turn on the oven to 325 F degrees and get a baking pan. Line it with parchment paper.

Get a large bowl and add the avocado, spices, lemon juice, and parmesan cheese. Mix the ingredients together and mash them with a fork.

You can now start making the avocado chips using a scoop. Use the back of a spoon to make them flat and round. The chips should be around 3 inches wide and 2 to 3 inches apart.

Place the chips on the baking pan. Leave the pan in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes. The chips should be crisp and have golden edges when the time is up. Make sure that you don’t overbake them.

Take out the pan and let the chips cool down. Serve them right away with a side of your choice.
