Ginger Shandy Is Great For Any Party

Ingredients

  • 4 oz chilled club soda
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 12-oz chilled bottle pale ale
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 2-inch piece ginger, peeled and grated
  • 2 lemon slices

Instructions

Get a pan and turn the stove on to medium-high heat. Fill the pan with the ginger, sugar, and 1/2 cup water. Wait for the mixture to start boiling and stir everything together very well.

When it’s done, take the pan away from the heat. Let it cool down for 15 minutes.

Strain the mixture and prepare two glasses for the ginger shandy cocktail. Use a large measuring cup to mix the lemon juice and 1/4 cup of the prepared syrup. Pour in the club soda as well.

Divide the drink between the two beer glasses. Top each one with one half of the beer. Decorate the glasses with a lemon slice.
