Peanut butter cup candy is such a delicious treat. Creamy peanut butter filling combined with soft milk chocolate to create an undeniably amazing candy. But, multiple the normal size of the candy by 10 and you have something that really becomes a show stopper. If you love this type of candy and really want to blow your friends out of the water, make this giant version of a peanut butter cup.

Tips

To make this look believably like those classic peanut butter cups, use a tart pan to create the shape. Although the flavor obviously matters most, having it be in the original shape but larger is so fun.

Instructions

  1. Melt 1 1/2 cups of dark chocolate candy melts in a microwave safe bowl with either vegetable shortening or coconut oil in 30-second intervals until completely melted.
  2. Line the tart pan with parchment paper and spray with nonstick spray. Pour in the melted chocolate and set in the freezer.
  3. Make the filling by combining 8 oz peanut butter with 6 tablespoons of melted butter, 3/4 cup of graham crackers, and 2 cups of powdered sugar with an electric hand mixer.
  4. Carefully place the mixture onto the chocolate shell.
  5. Melt 2 more cups of dark chocolate candy melts and pour over the peanut butter layer.
  6. Set it in the freezer for 30 minutes and enjoy!
