If you’re looking for a healthy snack to keep you from reaching for the chips, this is just what you need. This healthy chickpea cracker is tasty to eat on its own or use with your favorite dip. Plus, with all the nuts and seeds, you’ll feel a boost of energy you don’t usually get from your regular crackers.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpea flour
  • 2 teaspoons of dry oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 spoon sunflower seeds
  • 1 spoon of pumpkin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon black sesame seed
  • 3 tablespoons unground flax
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 cup of water

Instructions

  1. Heat an oven to high heat around 220 degrees.
  2. Mix the ingredients well until a uniform paste is obtained.
  3. Spread the paste evenly on a baking sheet.
  4. It is very important to spread the paste as thinly as possible—otherwise the crackers will not come out crispy.
  5. You can also sprinkle some coarse salt and extra flax seeds on top if desired.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes until the edges brown and burn a little. And you’re done!
  7. The crackers will keep well in an air-tight container for 3-4 days. Enjoy!
