It is a quick treat that will likely be a hit at a holiday party, family get-together, or a midnight snack. With just a few ingredients and a short prep time, this treat is a no-brainer. Ingredients
- 12 ounces of both semisweet and white chocolate, chopped
- 8 candy canes, crushed
- ½ tsp peppermint extract
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Fill the bottom of a large pot with water and boil. Place a heatproof bowl on top of the
pot. - Add the semisweet chocolate and stir occasionally until melted.
- Add peppermint extract and stir again.
- Pour the melted chocolate onto the lined baking sheet spread with a spatula.
- Let set in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
- Using the same boiling pot of water, place another heatproof bowl over top, add white
chocolate, and stir until melted. - Pour over set semisweet chocolate and immediately top with crushed candy canes.
- Refrigerate for another 20 minutes.
- Once set, break up until satisfied and enjoy!
