Everybody loves a taco, but sometimes you can get sick of the same old carne asada or shredded chicken varieties. If you’re looking to mix cuisines but still want to wrap your food in a tortilla, try some of the below fusion tacos.
Korean Bulgogi Taco
Bulgogi is a popular Korean dish of marinated meat grilled over a hot fire. After piling on your meat, add some cabbage and sour cream to finish off your delicious taco.
Sashimi Taco
If you can get sushi-grade fish, try some raw ahi tuna on a crispy taco shell. Top with Soy Teriyaka glaze and enjoy the mix of sweet, savory, crunchy, and smooth.
Italian Taco
This may look sloppy, but it works oh so well. Cook up some hot or sweet ground Italian sausage and top it with your favorite pasta sauce and fresh mozzarella before bringing it all together with a soft flour tortilla.
Buffalo Chicken Tacos
Fried chicken tacos are actually pretty popular in Mexico, but you won’t find many stands offering the Buffalo variety. Use your favorite fried chicken recipe and toss in a mixture of hot sauce and butter before garnishing with green and red onions and crumbled blue cheese.
