The Easiest Way to Cut a Pineapple

Pineapple is definitely one of our favorite fruits, but sometimes the idea of cutting it just seems like too much work. With these few easy steps, you will be done with the task in no-time and can enjoy the juicy tropical taste of this wonder.

Step 1

Use a sharp chef’s knife or a serrated knife to trim off the top, being cautious with the stiff, pointy leaves. Then cut off the base of the pineapple so that it will stand up straight.

Step 2

Stand the pineapple up on the cutting board and slice it straight down the middle to four equal pieces.

Step 3

You’ll notice the fibers of the pineapple run away from the core. Cut the core until you have removed the core from all four quarters.

Step 4

Once cored cut small vertical slices on each quarter.

Step 5

Remove Spiky Skin by cutting the rind off each quarter of the pineapple. Transfer pineapple bites into a bowl and enjoy!
