Unlike its name suggests, this sassy cocktail was invented in California in 1941. Needed in a time of war when people were looking for an escape, this cocktail has proven effective at adding plenty of atmosphere to small and big parties alike. Here is how you can brew the ideal Moscow Mule.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ounces vodka
  • 12 ounces ginger beer
  • 4 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 ounces lime juice
  • Lime wedge
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Grab some copper mugs if you have, otherwise other large mugs.
  2. Divide mint leaves evenly into each mug and add lime juice, ensuring the mint leaves brown and break down.
  3. Pour vodka into each mug and add ice.
  4. Pour ginger beer and stir.
  5. Garnish each mug with more mint around the rim and a lime wedge.
