No One Can Resist This Cheesy Cauliflower Casserole

Cauliflower might not be the favorite vegetable of everyone around, but in this cheesy casserole, no one will be able to resist asking for seconds. The recipe can be adapted to your taste and whatever you have in your house, which means you can make it all the time! The best part is that the sauce comes together really fast so you can get this casserole into the oven and onto the table quickly.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.
  2. Break down a whole head of cauliflower into florets and steam for 10 minutes.
  3. Over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan, and then whisk in 2 tablespoons of flour.
  4. Whisking all the while, pour in 1 cup of any type of milk you have on hand.
  5. Continue to whisk so the sauce remains smooth and then turn off the heat.
  6. Stir in 1 cup of any type of cheese you like and mix in until melted completely. Cheddar works really well but any type will do!
  7. Put the steamed cauliflower into a casserole dish and then pour over the entire cheesy sauce.
  8. Crack some fresh black pepper over the top and cook for 30 minutes.
  9. Garnish with some chopped parsley and enjoy!
