If you love freshly cooked pizza but don’t want to keep ordering delivery, just follow these simple steps and you can enjoy delicious homemade pizza in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

All you really need for quality homemade pizza is a ball of shop-bought dough. With this in hand, you can adorn it with any number of toppings, and feel free to get creative with it.

In this article, we’re going to explore a personal favorite of ours. For this particular homemade pizza, will need a bell pepper, grated mozzarella cheese, red onion, tomato puree, olive oil, garlic, capers, and anchovies.

Prime Your Dough

First, stretch out your dough until it is a thin circle or oval shape, which is easily done with a rolling pin. Cover with a sprinkle of olive oil and wipe this into the dough, which will ensure that it gets all crispy and golden in the oven. When this has dried, spread on a layer of tomato puree all over the surface, avoiding the very edges.

Apply Toppings

Cover the surface of your pizza with the grated mozzarella, slices of pepper, red onion, capers, and anchovies. If you’ve got your own set of toppings, cover the pizza with them!

Cook and Serve
