Onion rings have been ruling the world for quite some time, but they’ve finally found a worthy opponent in a similar dish. Bell pepper rings are super-delicious, and you need less than five ingredients to make them at home.
This tasty snack is often served with onion rings, but they can also serve as a great replacement in case you’re not crazy about the taste of onions. In addition to containing only a handful of ingredients, this dish can be made pretty quickly and it’s a perfect appetizer you can serve to surprise guests.
Ingredients:
- 3 bell peppers
- 2 eggs
- 100 grams of breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper
- Olive oil
- Dip or sauce of your choice
Instructions:
- After washing your red, green, or yellow bell peppers, cut them into thicker rings.
- Crack your eggs into a smaller bowl, and mix them up with your breadcrumbs. Dip the bell pepper rings into the egg mixture before frying them.
- After heating up the olive oil, fry your bell pepper rings in a deep frying pan or a skillet on medium heat.
- Once your bell pepper rings turn golden brown, place them on a paper napkin to soak up the excess oil, and serve them with a dip or sauce of your choice.
