Slice Tomatoes as a Group

The next time you slice tomatoes, you can save time and effort by no longer slicing them individually. Place a handful of tomatoes between two can lids. Press on the tomatoes gently and slice them through the gap to cut the entire batch at once.

Cut Cheese With Dental Floss

If you’re cooking with soft cheese, you no longer have to worry about crushing it when holding it down and slicing it with a knife. Instead, take a long strand of non-flavored dental floss and use that to cut through the cheese instead.

Season Meat From Above

According to Raechel, if you’re cooking with minced meat, then seasoning the meat as you mix it in the pan is not the most effective way to season it. Rather, lay the meat down and season it from above as this will spread the seasoning evenly across all the meat.
