Simple and Easy Chocolate Bars with Peanut Butter and Oats

Making your own chocolate bars is a lot better choice than grabbing one in the grocery store. Not only are the homemade chocolate bars healthier, but they also give you an opportunity to get creative and combine all of your favorite flavors.

If you’re looking for some ideas to get you started, then we recommend giving chocolate bars with peanut butter and oats a try. They are tasty, reasonably healthy, and best of all, simple and easy to make. Here is how to do it.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup chopped dark chocolate
  • ¾ cup coconut oil
  • 5 tablespoons honey

Instructions

1. Combine the peanut butter, coconut oil, and honey in a deeper saucepan or a pot. Cook on low heat until the coconut oil and butter are melted. Mix frequently.

 2. Add the rolled oats and chocolate. Continue cooking and mixing until the chocolate melts all the way, then remove from the stove.

3. Line a smaller baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the mixture on it and spread evenly.

4. Pop the baking sheet into a freezer and let it completely cool and firm.

5. Cut into bars and enjoy yourself. Store the leftover bars in a sealed container and put them in the fridge for later.
