What is your favorite type of margarita? We’re huge fans of the ones that blend the sweet, tart, and fruity flavors of the drink with a spicy kick, turning them into a flavor explosion that goes great with Mexican food. These traits are especially true when it comes to chili mango margaritas, and this is the recipe that we always whip up at home when we’re in the mood for one.

Ingredients

  • ½ mango, cubed
  • Juice of ½ mango
  • 2 ounces white tequila
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 1 dash Valentina hot sauce
  • Tajin seasoning

Instructions

Begin preparing the recipe by cubing half of a mango. Put the cubes into a blender, and blend them on high until they have formed a thick pulp. Next, juice the other half of the mango and add it along with the mango pulp into a shaker.

After you’ve done this, add the tequila, the juice of one lime, the triple sec, and a dash of Valentina hot sauce to the shaker along with a couple of ice cubes. You can decide how much hot sauce you want to use depending on just how spicy you want the margarita to be.

Shake thoroughly, and then pour the mixture into a margarita glass. Add more ice if you would like. Coat the rim with Tajin seasoning, and your margarita is ready to enjoy. Salud!
