Tomato sauce for pasta is a go-to in almost every home kitchen. It is delicious, quick to prepare, pleases children and adults, and goes well with any pasta. To elevate homemade tomato sauce, we have prepared a quick and delicious recipe for an upgraded pasta dish with tomato sauce.
Ingredients:
- Tomatoes
- Fresh garlic
- Basil
- Butter, for frying
Instructions:
- Roast in a hot oven lots of tomatoes with garlic, olive oil, and salt at a temperature of 390 degrees.
- After the tomatoes are golden, caramelized, and juicy, remove the pan from the oven and cool for 10 minutes.
- Transfer the roasted tomatoes to a pan with a generous cube of butter and a handful of basil leaves. Stir the mixture on the stove over low heat until the tomatoes are completely soft and the sauce thickens.
- At this point, you can grind the sauce in a blender to make a smooth and velvety sauce or leave it as is.
- Pour the sauce over cooked pasta and add parmesan or any other hard cheese you like and more basil.
